If you are a parent of a student with exceptional talents and gifts, these resources will be a great starting point to help you to get the help you need to help your son or daughter develop those skills, and possibly help you to remain sane in the process..
- http://www.gt-cybersource.org/ReadArticleNew.aspx?NavID=2_0 - The Davidson Institute's GT-CyberSource is a great resource for families wanting to learn more about gifted and talented issues. GT is not necessarily what you think it is. Learn more here.
- http://www.nagc.org/index.aspx?id=48 - Though this site offers much more, this specific page is a great first stop for parents of gifted children. Whether the child is gifted intellectually, creatively, artistically, or as a leader, there are great opportunities here for parents to learn how to better communicate with, and help their children excel.
- http://www.watg.org/ - Wisconsin Association for Gifted and Talented - WAGT's goal is to raise public awareness of the unique needs of gifted individuals. Whether you want information about the latest legislation affecting your GT child, or contact people to get the help you need, you will find it here.
- http://www.hoagiesgifted.org/parents.htm - This site is another great resource for helping parents to understand the unique challenges of raising a child of exceptional talent.

- Clipart - Need some clipart for your report. Here are several resources to find what you need. Most are free, some are not.
- ConnectEd - Great professional development tool to help teachers to examine their practice.
- Copyright Information - Not everything copied for educational purposes is 'fair use'. What is copyright, and how do I know if I am in violation of copyright laws? Here are some great links to find out.
- Fonts - Looking for that perfect font? Here are thousands of free ones to choose from.
- Smithsonian Institute - The definitive museum, the Smithsonian has more annual visitors, and is larger than any other museum in the world. Check it out online.
- Stock Photos - A picture is worth a thousand words. Here are thousands of pictures. WOW! That's a lot of words.
- unitedstreaming - search for curriculum appropriate software.
- vClass - Our District Moodle Installation. This gives teachers an opportunity to put much of their content online for access 24/7 by members of the class. You must contact me to set up your account.
Elementary School
- Star Reading - Reading Leveling program. Login as a Student | Parent | Teacher
- Gaggle.net - free email for schools. Teacher has full access to student inbox. Must get accounts setup through Bob Logan. Just email your class list and I will set it up. I will send you any forms that need to be filled out by parents.
Middle School
- Email - Goslings.org student email. Username is your student ID, and password was given at the start of the year.
- Vertical File - Sue Moldenhaur and June Creydt put many hours into their online vertical file. It is tailored to our Middle School Curriculum. Check it out here.
