Standard Specific Information

The Wisconsin Model Academic Standards (WMAS) were implemented in 1998. These standards are an excellent starting point for developing lessons, while meeting State expections, and designing an enthralling educational experience for your students. Many teachers have the attitude that this is just one more thing that we have to throw on top of an already bloated curriculum, but if used correctly, the WMAS can actually free you from the fear of "covering the material" and open up opportunities to implement some enthralling and engaging projects, problems and inquiries that can transform student learning.

Below you will find a link to all of the WMAS, and eventually, I hope to build out links to sample projects that meet these standards.
